i definitely didn't finish... but instead of having only 8.5 finished, i have 8.5 to go... definitely an improvement! and since i didn't finish, i got to shoot the roll of film i just developed! which was the first one i did on my own! prints will be next... can't wait!

i'm not going to finish the knitting for the knitting oplympics... i decided sleep and schoolwork take precedence! I will make it close though- i only have 8 and a hal squares left and hope to only have 4 left by the end of the day... it was just too much time consuming work and my schedule of course got really busy right when i started! i did however procrastinate slightly, though i think i still would not have made it anyway...

10 more squares to go... which is about 12 hours worth of work left... and i have a total of about 31 hours before my deadline... i am going to MAKE IT! yay! i'll do a couple more squares tonight and then most of my homework and then i'll finish the squares tomorrow!

i might as well kill myself now...

i had a total of 49 squares to knit. to the date of the start of the knitting olympics i had 7. to now i have 19. i have 30 more squares to knit by this sunday. and classes. and my job. and parties for my friends. and homework. and getting my eyebrow done. and my hands and back really hurt now. ugh. BUT I WILL FINISH ON TIME IF IT KILLS ME! in reality things will start speeding up when i get to the garter stitch... two more stockinette and that's done!

i've entered the yarn olympics on the yarn harlot website. i am going to complete the baby blanket that i started a year ago with my sister for our nephew, who is now almost 14 months. the olympics stretches from today, february 12, to february 28, 17 days from now. i had 7 squares of 49 completed, leaving 42 to go. i just completed another, leaving 41. i will keep track of my progress on this website. this is less a test of my skill and more a test of my stimina- that's a lot of knitting. however, to get in the spirit, LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
